PrimeSouth Bank Welcomes Mary Jenrette

(Brunswick, Georgia)— It is with great excitement and enthusiasm that PrimeSouth Bank announces Mary H. Jenrette as the Glynn County Market President. Jenrette is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the banking and private wealth management industries. She brings an abundance of knowledge and community banking experience to PrimeSouth Bank. In the banking industry for 30 years, Mrs. Jenrette most recently served as a Private Wealth Advisor for Synovus in Glynn County.

Prior to joining PrimeSouth, Jenrette’s passion for community involvement and natural talents have been recognized. At Synovus, she was awarded the Chairman’s Award consecutively in 2016 and 2017. Throughout her career at SunTrust, she served within the Wealth Management Group. During her time in the Charlotte, North Carolina market, Jenrette worked with First Charlotte Bank in a variety of positions. She helped organize the formation of a community bank with Park Meridian Bank, developing a suite of retail lending and deposit products as well as heading up deposit and loan growth strategies. Additionally, she served as the Market Executive of the Charlotte region for the Royal Bank of Canada.


In her personal life, Mrs. Jenrette serves as Chair-Elect of the United Way of Coastal Georgia Board of Directors. She also devotes time to the boards of The Gathering Place and Centered for Life. Additionally, she applies her industry knowledge in aiding the finance committee for the St. Simons Community Church.

North Carolina was her home for many years. Mary received her high school education from Saint Mary’s School in Raleigh. She then attended Meredith College, where she earned a BS in Business Administration. Furthermore, she holds a graduate certificate in Banking and Finance from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

Currently, Mary lives on St. Simons Island with her husband of 28 years, Jon, and their three sons, Harris (24), Hampton (21) and Cooper (19).
